What I'm Loving Wednesday.

Happy Wednesday! I'm linking up with Jamie again to share my loves for the week.

I'm loving this weather that we're having! I'm thinking Groundhog Phil was on to something. High of 65 today and 71 tomorrow! Woo! Next week is looking like 50-60s weather too. No more snow, please!

I'm loving naps. I'm trying to make my way through my first full 5 day work week since the week of December 6-10. That's over two months without working 5 straight days, y'all. This is going to be no easy task. I've taken a nap when I've gotten home the past two nights. I plan to continue this trend and take one this evening. Sad.

I'm loving my teaching team. Kindergarten teachers are the best. I truly love these ladies and enjoy working with them so much. I'm very lucky to have a team that I get along with and truly like. Not every team is as fortunate. I had a couple of semi-miserable years before we all came together. The past three years have been so much better!

I'm loving my large Tervis Tumbler. I have a few, but this one is my favorite. Representin' WKU! I fill this thing up with sweet tea from the school cafeteria nearly every day at lunch. This buddy helps get me through the afternoon.

I'm loving the fact that Brad said bye-bye to Michelle. It was beyond time for that crazy to go. You know, I did really love that necklace of hers. I'm going to miss seeing that.

What I'm Loving Wednesday.

Link up with Jamie to share your loves.
I'm loving these little eggs of joyous love, Cadbury Mini Eggs. I call them my Crackbury Eggs. So good. And you know, I'm usually not the hugest dark chocolate fan, but I do believe the dark chocolate mini eggs are even better.
Yes, we haven't even had Valentine's Day yet, but Easter candy is already out. It's better. In my opinion, Easter has THE BEST candy selection. No doubtaboutit. This is just the beginning of my ramblings for my love for Easter candy that you all will read about. It might be a long couple months for some of you. I'm just warning you now.

I'm loving that two of my very favorite people in this world celebrate birthdays this week: my friend Ashley and my brother Adam. Ashley's birthday was yesterday and Adam's is today. Here's an old-ish pic of all of us. Yeesh. I look a fright. Anyways, I'm sure glad they were both born. Born to love me.

I'm loving this necklace that I bought at F21 last weekend. It's beautimous and was a bargain price. Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm a Forever21 jewelry addict. This is true.

I'm loving these wide leg jeans. There's nothing better than a perfect pair of wide leg jeans paired with wedges. Ahh. True. Love. I should've been a young'n during the bell bottom era.

I'm loving this salsa. I've become pretty good pals with it lately. It comes in the standard mild, medium, and hot. I go for hot. Go big or go home. It is IMPOSSIBLE to find salsa in the grocery that's as delightful as the salsa in Mexican restaurants. I've been on a lifelong search. This stuff is pretty dern good though. It's really fresh.

I'm loving Dairy Queen's buy one Blizzard, get one free when it snows. I live WAY too close to DQ for this to not tempt me.

And finally, I'm loving my little snow day buddy. I enjoy being home to spend days with my Daisy Mae. You know, just loungin'.

Hmm. 4 of my 7 'loves' were food related. This should let you all know just how in love with food I am.

What I'm Loving Wednesday.

I enjoy doing these posts because it forces me to focus on positive things about my life and day. During a week like this, being positive is something that can be hard to do. I could totally do a list about what I'm not loving on this Wednesday. I have a lot of gripes, stresses, and worries at the moment. This has been a crazy, busy, stressful week...and it's not over yet. Sigh. Positive thoughts, positive thoughts.
So. Here's the stuff I'm lovin':

I'm loving little Phil for not seeing his shadow on this Groundhogs morn'. Way to go, buddy. I knew you wouldn't let me down.

I'm loving all the fun days at school this week. Groundhogs Day and the 100th Day. Celebrations all around. Groundhogs Day, although kind of strange that we have a whole day dedicated to a groundhog, is actually a pretty fun day at school. To be extra festive groundhog supporters, we made lovely hats [pictured below], groundhog paper bag puppets, played a super fun groundhog probability game, and even made a few shadow puppets on the ActivBoard. Who wouldn't love that?
I looked so good wearing this. You know I did.
I'm loving that I have a crazy digital clock in my classroom that makes my days more exciting. Today it randomly busted out in 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas'. Twice. Yes. It does that sometimes. It resets itself to 12:00 and starts playing that song. I don't get it either, but I kinda love it because it's weird and that's the kind of stuff that happens in my life. Times are never dull.

I'm loving Lifetime Movie Network just as much as ever. My TV stays tuned in to LMN at all times, unless one of my other programs is on. I love that LMN provides a constant stream of drama-filled movies for my hungry Lifetime loving soul. I love watching the drama, but I don't want to live it. It makes me thankful that I don't live a life that's the perfect plot for their next movie.
I'm loving all of YOU! Getting to 10 followers was like, whoa. Now I'm at 21!? Shut your mouth. I love you all and your sweet comments. It makes me want to do a shout of jubilee.

What I'm Loving Wednesday.

You're not going to believe it (total sarcasm)...it's another snow day for me. This makes snow day #10. I should probably act like it bothers me that we've missed so much school, but, eh. I'm slightly perturbed because I stayed at school for a couple hours last night working on sub plans for today. I was scheduled to be off today anyway for a math training. All that work is down the drain, but, it happens. My motto this year has been to embrace the snow. I can't change what's dealt to us, so there's no point in complaining about it. I'll take this day and love it. It really is such a pretty snow today. It's the really heavy wet snow that blankets the trees. Beautiful.

The pretty trees behind my house.

I love Jimmy Kimmel's idea of 'The Amazing Bachelor Drinking Game'. The rules are simple. Drink every time you hear the word 'amazing'. Uncle Frank, Aunt Chippy, Guillermo and Natalina all played along for fun on Monday night. For extra fun times, I'd throw the word 'surreal' in as well. That word is beyond played out on The Bachelor.
Who's going to come over and join me next Monday night?

I'm loving that Cage the Elephant is appearing on Jimmy Kimmel tomorrow night. These boys are all natives of BG, Kentucky. Representin'. Two of the five were in my high school graduating class. They're on their way up. Check them out.

You know what, since I've already talked about his show twice in this post, I'm just loving Jimmy Kimmel. He may not be the hottest man in your eyes, but I've always been attracted to him. He's just so funny. That's what makes him great to me.

I'm loving my new otter bag that I just got yesterday. It's whimsical and kiddish and I like it. Next to koalas, otters are my very favorite animal. One of the parents of my students owns a little store and I've been wanting this bag since I saw it there at the beginning of December. I emailed her yesterday and she delivered it to me at school. Now that's service!
This bag is made by Bungalow 360. They make 'Earth Happy' bags. They also donate portions of sales to animal rescue organizations. Many cute, cute patterns available.

And just to add to the complete randomness, I'm loving pepper jack cheese. I've always loved it but recently have developed an intense addiction to the stuff. I've been buying it by the block and have been sawing hunks off at an alarmingly fast rate. I've also been packing pepper jack string cheese in my little lunch box everyday. Just can't get enough of the stuff.
Link on up with Jamie to share what you're loving.

What I'm Loving Wednesday.

I'm loving my new peacock earrings that I bought over the weekend. Peacocks are crazy.

I'm loving the fact that this past weekend I was able to eat at one of my favorite places ever. The Cheesecake Factory. I'm loving that I ate every bit of this bread slathered in butter, plus my meal, and a piece of cheesecake. My belly thanked me.

I'm loving Well-rested eye brightener by bareMinerals. I have been trying to find the perfect solution for dark eye circles for years. I'd been using bareMinerals Bisque, but I like this so much better. It's good stuff.

I'm loving that one of my students wore green sparkly shoes to school. Shoes like these make me miss being a kid. I want some.

I'm loving that another one of my students brought Marley (our classroom mascot that travels home with a different student each evening) back to school dressed as a child from the 70s. You just never know what each day of kindergarten brings.

I'm loving that my friends and I are having a clothing/accessories swap tomorrow night to exchange things that we no longer wear or want. No one's going to be wanting my junk, but maybe we'll all come away with something good and 'new' to us.

I hope you have a lot that you're lovin' on this Wednesday. Snow is in the air here. I can feel it. I feel crazy and my students were off the hook today. Snow day #9, here we come...

What I'm Loving Wednesday.

I'm loving my heated micro plush throw. Are you all tired of hearing me talk about it yet? Because I'm not. Seriously. This thing is amazing and glorious and delightful. If Sunbeam wanted me to do a commercial to endorse this throw, I'd be glad to be their lady. Screw a Snuggie. This is where it's at.

I'm loving that I watched Mean Girls last night for approximately the 2,473rd time and I loved it just as much as the first time I ever watched it. My movie taste is similar to that of a pre-teen girl. Mean Girls and Bring It On: All or Nothing are two of my very favorites.
"I wish we could all get along like we used to in middle school. I wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat it and be happy..."

I'm loving Coke! I don't think I could ever give up Coke. I can't start a school day until I crack one open.
Yeah, I'm also loving that I have Old Spice Swagger body wash in my shower and use it on occasion. It smells good and obviously gives me swagger, hence the name. Yes, it's a body wash for men. I have no shame. Any other ladies out there using men's body wash sometimes? Anyone? Bueller?

I'm loving the Christmas at the Beach Yankee Candle I got for Christmas. It makes my house smell like a beachy love fest. Half of the jar is already burned down.

I'm loving that I'm going back to school tomorrow for a 2 day work week and will then have a 3 day weekend. Thank you Dr. MLK, Jr.

What are you lovies loving today?
