Can you hEAR me now?

What would you do if your kid had ears like this? Do you ever think about how weird ears look? I do.

I have hit many curbs in my day as a driver. I've scratched my hubcaps just a few times as I've grinded along a curb. I've even had a tire replaced after I ripped a hole in it from hitting a curb so hard.
I recently saw a car that looks like it's had more (okay, a lot more) hubcap damage than my car. I couldn't resist taking a picture of the car. I'm honestly quite amazed by this picture. This very talented driver has managed to make one with the curb on every single spoke of their hubcap. Impressive. I'd just like to know how many tires they've had to replace.

The Poopy Diaper Game

Tonight I was channel flipping and I stopped when I reached TLC. The show 18 Kids & Counting was on. I don't watch this show, but have caught a few episodes here and there. I think it's kinda crazy that The Duggars keep popping out babies. The mom is currently expecting baby number 19 AND the mom and dad just became first-time grandparents. I mean, more power to them for having that much patience and love to share with so many kids. I have 24 kids for 7 hours a day at school, but luckily, I get to send those babies home to their parents at the end of the day. I also get holidays and summers kid-free and I get a new batch of kids each year. I can't imagine having 19 that were mine forever and always. Nope. Can't even imagine it.

On the episode, Momma Duggar was having a baby shower for her expecting daughter-in-law. They played a shower game that looked pretty fun to me, but probably gross to most people. Let me tell you all about it:
The Poopy Diaper Game
Items needed: various types of miniature candy bars, diapers
Prep: Number the diapers. Melt the miniature candy bars. Place melted miniature candy bars in diapers (noting what type of candy bar is in each diaper). Provide the individuals playing this game a list of the candy bars used. The guests have to open the diapers, pass them around, and guess what type of "surprise" is inside of each diaper. The person with the most correctly guessed candy bars wins.

Sounds like loads (pun intended) of fun doesn't it?

Rebecca- I bet you're hoping you'll get to play this game at a shower for your little baby. Yeah, I thought so.

I wonder...

These are just some of the ponderings that go on in this great brain of mine:

-Okay, there are four Golden Girls. Why are there only 3 chairs around the kitchen table? One of them always has to stand up or pull up a stool. I don't understand. Seven seasons of the show and they never had enough seating for all four girls.

-Why do black beetles like to come in my house as soon as it turns Fall? Dear Beetles, If you're looking for warmth, you're not going to find much warmth in my house. Stay outside where you belong. If you come into my house, I will smash you.

-Why are new CDs and DVDs released on Tuesdays? What's special about Tuesday?

-Why does gum get hard when you drink water or eat ice while chewing it?

-Why are our fingers different lengths?

-Why are holes in crackers?

-Why do corn chips have black specks? There are no black specks in corn kernels. What are they?

-How old do you have to be before it is said that you died of old age?

-Why do the KFC commercials play "Sweet Home Alabama"? My Old Kentucky Home would be a better song selection.

-Why do my neighbors like to steal my trashcan?

-Why is it that the hair on my legs and head can grow out long but the hair on my arms stay one constant length? Well, actually, sometimes there is that one weird arm hair that you find that is growing out of control and is way longer than the rest. I don't understand that either. Does anyone else ever find that random long arm hair, or is that just me?

-Why does dog food smell so bad and why does my dog love to eat it so much?

-Why did they take away tan M&M's? Those were my favorite when I was a kid. Bring back tan!

-Why do we close our eyes when we sneeze?

-Why do people say "heads up" when they want you to duck your head?
