I Want to be a Princess Now.

Ello! I've noticed all day that people have been calling those that woke up early to watch the Royal Wedding one of the "crazies". Well. I guess I'm one of those "crazies" then. I'm so glad I saw it. It is definitely something I won't soon forget. I woke up around 4:50 this morning to watch the coverage. I thought that I would just catch a glimpse of her dress and then go back to bed. Yeah right. Once I started watching, I was hooked. There was no turning the TV off.

As I was watching this morning, I jotted down some of my thoughts. Yes, I took notes during the Royal Wedding. I did it for good reason, as I wrote them in anticipation of this blog, so shush now.
  • I bet Kate's wrist is killing from waving so much. Carpel tunnel danger.
  • I love Posh and Becks.
  • David Beckham, you are hot. Really. Hot.
  • Charles looks major old.
  • The trees inside the church are beyond amazing. I wanna do that if I ever get married. I feel that would be a real possibility.
  • Will I ever get married? Maybe in 2049.
  • Kate. Amazing. You're taking my breath away. Tears in my eyes.
  • Okay, Sarah. Stop crying. Seriously.
  • Kate had the longest walk down the aisle ever.
  • She looks so calm. And so happy.
  • I love how everyone is wearing hats. It's like Derby Day.
  • Why don't we wear hats to weddings here? It's so festive.
  • I wish I had a British accent.
  • It's so weird when they add an 'r' to the end of words that end with an 'a'. Example: Paular. Simon Cowell always called Paula Abdul 'Paular'.
  • And then I try to imitate the way the word was said. It's always a big fat fail. My British accent sucks. It's like Britney Spears attempt at it.
  • Oh Harry. I like you. And you're still on the market. Holla at me.
  • Pippa is beautiful and I like her fun name.
  • So really I should be saying Pippar.
  • Harry should marry Pippa if he doesn't marry me.
  • Hmm. Kate's brother is kinda cute.
  • Such a fairy tale. It makes me want to sing a Disney song.
  • William and Harry look so nice all dressed up.
  • Those little boys in their red coats and white pants are adorable.
  • Kate is beautiful.
  • I like how Kate smiled the moment William said the "for richer" part of the vows. Maybe it was just coincidental, but she knows she's gonna be for richer.  ;)
  • I want Kate's hair.
  • I used to have the biggest crush on Prince William.
  • He sure is balding. Dang.
  • William liked it. He put a ring on it.
  • Wha-oh-oh-oh-oh-ooh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
  • Speaking of ring, it seemed awfully tight.
  • I might have a girl crush on Kate.
  • If the bride and groom sit down, you know it's going to be a long ceremony.
  • I HAVE to get in the shower.
  • William looks quite handsome in his hat.
  • I want to ride in a carriage.
  • Dang! Look at the Queen's carriage.
  • Look at all the Queen's horses and all the Queen's men!
  • I wonder what the Queen's corgis are doing. I guess just roaming around Buckingham Palace and eating off their silver dog platters like always.
  • My favorite sign in the crowd: "Checkmate Kate--you've taken the king!" Clever.
  • I'm a chess nerd.
  • Popping champagne at 11 in the middle of a crowd ? Sounds like a fun time to me. Bottoms up.
  • Must. Peel. Eyes. Off. TV.
  • Sad face. Leaving for work and I'm going to miss the balcony kiss.
I saw the replay of their balcony kiss x2. Their kiss was way better than Charles and Diana's pop kiss. Good job, kids.
It was truly a beautiful wedding. I loved every minute of it. It's not often that we get to witness real life fairy tale moments. I teared up a few times while watching. I definitely did when she got out of the car. She was stunning. Another time was when it was said that she "arrived a commoner and left as HRH (Her Royal Highness). Aw. Dreams do come true. Kate's a real life Disney Princess story.

I also teared up hearing a little girl on the news talk about Kate's wedding dress. Imagine this being said in the most adorable of British accents: "When she was walking down, it looked as though it {the dress} were floating in mid-air."

I've been thinking about this dang wedding all day and just how beautiful it all was. I love seeing two people that look so happy and so in love. It's truly refreshing. And well, the whole royal family thing with their palaces and horse drawn carriages and all is just so neat. I'm in awe of it all. You can tell that the UK truly loves their Royal Family.

I will leave you now with this. This goes out to all my fellow single ladies:
